Madison Pointe of Grey Oaks, the new Rodrock Development community in west Shawnee, has opened forty-nine new home sites, including daylight and walkout sites. Homes in Madison Pointe of Grey Oaks start in the upper $200,000s and include award-winning story-and-a-half and two-story floor plans by James III Homes. Square footages vary and, depending on the floor plan, may feature four to five bedrooms, 2-1/2 to 5-1/2 baths and three- and four-car garages. For a limited time, Grey Oaks is also open to outside builders. The community is located on Monticello Road north of Shawnee Mission Parkway and west of I-435.

“The opening of Madison Pointe of Grey Oaks gives homebuyers exciting new home and home site options heading into spring,” says Bob Sloan. Sloan and Sherri Hines are community managers of Grey Oaks, which is now comprised of four communities including: Country Crossing of Grey Oaks (with homes from the $280,000s), Madison Ridge of Grey Oaks and Madison Pointe of Grey Oaks (with homes from the upper $200,000s) and Eagle View of Grey Oaks (with homes from the $400,000s).

New Sites Close to Schools, Pool, Parks

The new Madison Pointe of Grey Oaks home sites and homes are just south of Clear Creek Parkway at 60th Street. Many sites back to treed Shawnee City Park vistas, or are adjacent to the newer Prairie Ridge Elementary School located right in the Grey Oaks master community. The new home sites are also close to the Grey Oaks community pool, park and play area, the first of its kind for the Kansas City metro area.
